我是08年12月寄的申请，09年5月收到第一封信，然后就是漫长的等待，中间收到过一次新书，大概在2010年2月份左右。网上写1月28日file转到Mississauga local office，5月初收到信通知今天(6月3日)下午1点考试。 首先要说的就是，考试答题时间不长，30分钟，但是整个过程要2-3个小时，因为officer要一个一个人的面谈，所有人都谈完后才开始考试，所以大家在等的时候可以带着书，也可以把网上习题打出来带着看，因为确实要等很久。我就是啥都没带，结果非常无聊。。。 再说说面谈经过，officer先要了landing paper，PR卡，驾照和health card，跟申请的时候交的复印件比对了一下，然后问我什么时候landed，然后就是拿着护照找出、入境章，跟申请表上填的出入境日期比对，这里说一下，自己最好之前好好看一下护照，免得到时候记不起来。然后就是随便问了问从申请日往前算4年都住过哪里，都干过什么工作，还有有没有配偶，有没有孩子之类的简单的问题。然后就发一张答题卡和铅笔一支。这里强调一下，officer会把你的application ID先填在答题卡上，然后我们自己答题之前用铅笔把下面对应的数字涂黑，但是，一定要double check，因为我今天的officer就给填错了，还好我看了，不然后果不堪设想，到时候考完了都找不到记录，那岂不是麻烦大了! 最后说一下我的题目吧，我的是Version B(考完交表的时候officer在答题卡上写的)，时间关系，每道题我只记了个大概： 1. What are the citizenship responsibilities; 2. Canada is surrounded by which 3 oceans; 3. how is the MP chosen; 4. the significance of the Canada day (also known as the Dominion Day); 5. what is the purpose of the Canadian Pacific railway built during 1880; 6. what heritage is Canada's legal system based on; 7. what happened on the D-Day; 8. which province is the main producer of pulp and paper and hydroelectricity; 9. where do the rights and responsibilities come from; 下面两道必对题： 10. who can vote; 11. who do you elect; 下面3道至少对一道： 12. what is the National Register of Electors list; 13. what do you write on the ballot; 14. what is on the voters information card; 继续其他题： 15. what is the current system of government; 16. why is the invention of insulin by two Canadian so important; 17. what is the significance of hockey; 18. what are the 3 branches of government; 19. which region is called the "Land of the Midnight Sun"; 20. why is trade with other countries so important. 最后officer还说如果考完试2个月还没有收到宣誓通知的话，可以打电话到CIC的call center去询问。 我翻了翻书，这些答案在书上都有，很多都是原话，所以还是要好好看书，再以做题为辅助，具体如下： -- 第5题：page 20; -- 关于D-Day: page 23; -- 第6题 legal system的：page 36,图片上面那一段第一句; -- 第9题：第8页的第一段; -- 第12题：第30页右边第一段; -- 第15题：第28页第一句蓝色的字; -- 第17题：第39页，under ”Popular Sports“第一句; -- 第18题： 第29页右边第一段; -- 第20题：第24页第一段最后一句。 |
